What will you do?

The Kmart Group has an exiting opportunity for a Projects & RFID Lead within our Profit Protection team. As a Project & RFID Lead you will be responsible for identifying and managing shrinkage reduction-related projects across the Kmart & Target businesses, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, with proven shrinkage reduction results, and to the satisfaction of our customers. Additionally, you will be collaborating with product owners on the RFID (radio-frequency identification) program and will be responsible for ensuring that we are using the latest technology to improve inventory management and using the data to identify additional initiatives to reduce shrinkage.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage shrinkage reduction projects across our retail stores from initiation to completion.
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Manage project risks and issues and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive shrink programs enabled by RFID platforms across our retail stores.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Develop ROI analysis for projects and RFID leveraged initiatives.
  • Deliver innovative approaches to shrink reduction leveraging the RFID platform.
  • Engage with the wider shrink team to leverage data and insights to inform shrink reduction strategies.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the retail or technology industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with RFID technology and inventory management systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile project management methodology.
  • Excellent data analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proven experience working within large business transformational roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
