What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Manager to join our Marketing Team based in our Store Support Office in Williams Landing in West Melbourne. The primary purpose of this role to create effective integrated media strategies that drive the broader communications and commercial objectives and delivers on our company strategy in line with Target’s values.

Other key responsibilities may include:

  • Deliver mass reach, in support of growing Brand love, and store/online traffic, through implementing effective and innovative digital marketing and integrated media strategies.
  • Lead strategy, implementation and processes to create market leading media implementation across: Website content, SEM, SEO, Social Media content.
  • Manage key agencies to plan and execute efficient paid media and performance campaigns across social, mobile and display
  • Provide support in the development and implementation a digital infrastructure that will allow efficient integration of all digital marketing technology in the most efficient way, across Target.
  • Develop and deliver key campaign milestones as part of critical path planning and deployment process, includes assisting and/or leading the integrated channel matrix development and coordination of Marketing campaign block plans, and subsequent presentation of channel (paid and owned) plans with other teams to Marketing and merchant partners

What do we need?

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Marketing with at least 5 years’ experience within a digital marketing or media management role. A keen understanding of both traditional and digital media landscape is essential as is demonstrated experience working in a campaign optimisation environment along with the ability to demonstrate experience in the delivery of successful campaigns that performed successfully against defined business objectives.
