What will you do?

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager to join our Online Team based in our Store Support Office in Williams Landing in West Melbourne. 

In this role, it is expected you will champion the needs of the customer to create exceptional experiences across the digital landscape. You will have a particular focus on Search and Personalisation, and more broadly the ‘pre-shop’ segment of e-commerce.  As a member of the Digital Experience team, it is expected you will advocate for continuous improvement of the end-to-end digital proposition, in line with Target’s values.

Other key responsibilities may include

  • Define the strategic direction and road-map relevant to your product area (‘pre-shop’)
  • Identify opportunities and problem spaces, articulate customer and market needs
  • Manage competing resources and priorities from various stakeholders across different business units
  • Advocate for the product vision and convey the benefits of initiatives to the team
  • Remain abreast of current and emerging technologies relating to search and personalisation, and incorporate into product road-map as warranted
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of new initiatives

What do we need?

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in Product Management or a similar role, ideally with Search and / or Personalisation experience.  Experience forming a Product Strategy / Vision and the ability to translate it into a road-map is essential as is demonstrated experience in using data insights to shape and guide product outcomes along with demonstrated ability to consult and interact effectively with all levels of an organsation - developing strong business partnerships and working knowledge of Google Analytics 360.
