Who are We?

Our vision is simple: To provide our customers with quality fashion and basics for everyone at low prices. An iconic Australian retailer, our story began in 1926 when George Lindsay and Alex McKenzie opened a drapery store in Geelong, Victoria with a focus on great quality and value.

Over 90 years on, we’ve grown & evolved, but our philosophy remains the same.  Part of the Wesfarmers group, one of Australia’s largest employers, we’re immensely proud of our history and building our store network to over 300 stores across Australia and over 13,000 team members who work as part of the Target brand across our Store operations and in our Store Support Office in addition to our team based in our Asian sourcing offices.

We are seeking an experienced Online Fulfilment Coach to join our Supply Chain team, who will be responsible for supporting the design, embedding and improvement of the online fulfilment process across our stores in NSW/ACT.

What will you do?

  • Become a subject matter expert for our stores across NSW/ACT in online fulfilment, helping them to achieve a consistent, scalable and highly productive fulfilment model to support further growth in this area.
  • Influence and guide the stores towards following  ‘one way of working’ for online fulfilment, achieving this through coaching and development, and a real focus on improving efficiency and striving for continuous improvement.
  • Support stores with the implementation of online fulfilment, working in collaboration with the National Project and State Operations teams.
  • Lead the Target vision, strategy and values within the team and across the organisation

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be an engaging leader with a significant retail background, and a strong passion and interest in online fulfilment. You will have a substantial understanding of change management principles, and be comfortable with coaching and developing team members in adopting a new way of working. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to influence a wide array of stakeholders.
